Two more young players have graduated from Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust’s football development programme to secure contracts with the club’s Academy.
Ben Hughes and William Osborne, who have both been playing in the under-14s set-up for the Trust, have secured contracts following a trial with the Academy.
They were both part of the Trust team which competes in the Junior Premier League which has seen great success this season.
Football Development Officer Bob Thomas said: “Everyone involved with the Trust is very proud of Ben and William and their success is a further endorsement of the work being done in our football development programme.
“We are also seeing great success with our younger age groups, under-8s to under-11s, and we are producing some excellent footballers.
“We also have three players from our under-12s on a six-week trial with the Academy, so we are seeing success at all levels.”
Ben and William are the latest players to secure contracts with the Academy and follow in the footsteps of many players who have made the move from the Trust into the Academy.
