Our U11-U16 Junior Premier League teams are run in conjunction with our existing Talent ID Centre’s within the region as well as our Advanced Talent ID Centre’s which were established with the aim of developing local players.
The Junior Premier League is run in a very similar way to Academy level football with the only difference being the incentive to play for league points and participate in cup competitions. All of teams are currently playing in the top league of the Junior Premier League (JPL #1)
All of our players have the opportunity to represent Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust and Yeovil Town Football Club at a competitive level.
Fixtures are played on a Saturday morning and therefore do not conflict with local leagues who operate on a Sunday as we believe that it is important for the Trust to work alongside local grassroots clubs in order to help develop young footballers within the area.
Once players reach 16, they have the opportunity to complete their education with YTFC (Elite Player Development Programme (EPDP) ) alongside a football training and fixture programme, leaving them ideally place for an exit route into higher education, employment in sports coaching, or a career in football.

Working in the heart of your local community, parents can be rest assured that all programmes that Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust provides, are delivered by FA qualified coaches with a wealth of experience in developing young people of all abilities.
All coaches working at Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust are UEFA B/Level 2 qualified coaches who are licensed by the FA and have an enhanced DBS/CRC & safeguarding/emergency first aid qualifications.
The coaches positively encourage, challenge and develop the players. The environment is calm and controlled. Activity of the sessions excellent, and because of the above my son finds football with Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust extremely enjoyable. Thank you.
